I have started a quilt for mum’s birthday. A humungous task considering it’s her birthday in a little over a month! I am attempting an edited version of my SIL’s quilt ‘Summer Sunshine’ which was originally a throw, but I’m making it into queen size.
There is a lot of hand applique which I thought would be great to do in front of the TV every night. Which it is. But there is A LOT of hand quilting, so already I have changed it a little to include less petals, and less blocks that have any petals at all!
I am determined to see this through so will post my progress here in an attempt to name and shame myself 🙂
